Concord Veterinary Hospital got its start in a mobile home in 1979, while our original hospital was being built. Back then, ‘Farragut’ was the area approaching Lovell Road and west, and ‘Concord’ was the Concord Road area up to Smith Road. In 1980, Farragut incorporated as a town, and Concord Veterinary Hospital continues to serve a new generation of Farragut pet owners.
In 1995, we moved into a new, spacious building to accommodate current and future growth. For our doctors, it has been an exciting time, especially in the advancement of veterinary medicine. Pets continue to fill an increasing role in our lives; we consider them members of our family and care for them as such. Pharmaceutical and technological advances have helped veterinarians enhance pet quality of life and extended the life expectancy of our furry friends.
As our hospital has grown, we have developed a special area of interest in pet dentistry. Many pet owners do not know that dental disease is the most common ailment faced by dogs and cats. Our hospital fights dental disease through a focus on effective dental care, aided by a veterinarian on staff for advanced and referral dentistry.
It is our mission to maintain the same vigor, enthusiasm, and standard of care we held when we opened our doors in 1979, advanced by modern developments in medicine and technology. We feel we have accomplished this mission through our compassionate staff and our dedication to the highest standard of care. If you are looking for a trusted veterinarian in Farragut, we hope you will consider Concord Veterinary Hospital.
